Our Partners

At Aid the Needy Kenya (ATN-K), we believe that sustainable development is never achieved in isolation. Our fifteen-year track record of transforming lives across the Lake Victoria Basin Counties is built entirely on a foundation of meaningful, trusted collaborations. By uniting deep grassroots community structures with international development organizations, government agencies, and corporate allies, we maximize our collective resources and ensure long-term local ownership.

We are proud to work alongside a diverse network of strategic partners who share our commitment to fighting inequality, ending poverty, and building resilient communities.

🌍 Strategic Partnerships

Water Mission

Our partnership with Water Mission, an international engineering NGO, serves as the cornerstone of our large-scale clean water initiatives. Together, we successfully engineered and deployed a massive solar-powered borehole and piped water network at the Atela Location in Kabondo. This critical collaboration delivers clean, safe water to over 5,090 individuals daily, expanding to villages and local schools.

The United States Embassy in Kenya

To strengthen rural livelihoods and enhance local food security, we joined forces with the US Embassy in Kenya. This impactful collaboration directly supports women's self-help groups in Karabondi, Rachuonyo North, by equipping them with modern solar-powered irrigation kits. This intervention builds climate resilience by helping families transition toward sustainable agriculture and away from an overreliance on a declining fish economy.

European Development Partners (Belgium & The Netherlands)

Our collaborations with international partners in Belgium and the Netherlands have accelerated our green energy and community technology programs. These alliances have funded off-grid solar infrastructure installations at rural medical centers—including Apida Community Hospital—and specialized academic centers, ensuring uninterrupted power for local healthcare and education.

🏫 Institutional & Academic Alliances

We partner closely with regional educational, vocational, and technical training institutions (TVETs) to bridge the digital divide and build technical capacity among youth. Through the distribution of ICT infrastructure, computers, and internet connectivity, we actively support learning environments at several key institutions, including:

  • Nyabondo Girls Boarding Primary School

  • St. Martin Deporres Special School

  • Jwelu Vocational School

  • Ringa Girls High School

👥 Community & Local Government

Our truest partners are the communities we serve. We collaborate daily with Village Health Committees, Water User Committees, Women's Self-Help Groups, and County Government line ministries. These localized relationships ensure that every project we introduce aligns with county development priorities, respects local knowledge, and remains completely self-sustaining long after an infrastructure cycle ends.

🤝 Join Our Network

We are continuously seeking to expand our network of partners to scale our proven models in WASH infrastructure, climate-smart livelihoods, technology transfer, and the circular economy. If your organization shares our passion for structured, sustainable community development, we invite you to build the future with us.
