Community Health & Maternal Care
Improving Health, Saving Lives, and Building Stronger Communities
At Aid the Needy Kenya (ATN-K), we believe that good health is the foundation of thriving families and sustainable communities. Our Community Health & Maternal Care Programme is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare services, strengthening maternal and child health, promoting disease prevention, and empowering communities to adopt healthy lifestyles.
Many rural communities in Kenya continue to face challenges such as inadequate healthcare facilities, limited access to maternal healthcare, preventable diseases, poor sanitation, malnutrition, and long distances to health centres. Through integrated community health interventions, ATN-K works to ensure that every mother, every child, and every family has the opportunity to live a healthy and dignified life.
We collaborate with county governments, healthcare providers, Community Health Promoters (CHPs), development partners, and local communities to strengthen healthcare systems and improve health outcomes across the communities we serve.
