Technical & Vocational Skills Development
Equipping Youth with Practical Skills for Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Livelihoods
At Aid the Needy Kenya (ATN-K), we believe that empowering people with practical skills is one of the most effective ways to reduce poverty, promote economic growth, and build resilient communities. Our Technical & Vocational Skills Development Programme equips young people, women, and vulnerable groups with industry-relevant technical, vocational, digital, and entrepreneurial skills that prepare them for meaningful employment, self-employment, and lifelong success.
Many young people in Kenya face unemployment due to limited access to vocational training, inadequate technical skills, and a mismatch between education and labour market needs. ATN-K addresses these challenges by providing hands-on training, entrepreneurship support, career mentorship, and partnerships with employers to create pathways to decent work and sustainable livelihoods.
Through collaboration with Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, government agencies, private sector organizations, and development partners, we are helping individuals unlock their potential while contributing to local economic development.
